Going by the invite that was sent out earlier today, the studio will be throwing open their gates to all the fans out there to come witness the trailer launch of Fan. SRK has been in the news lately, just like Aamir Khan, for his remark on the growing intolerance in India. The comment cost him some loss for his film Dilwale in December 2015, when screening was stalled in certain areas. The actor has since decided to refrain from commenting on any sensitive issue.

Why his car was pelted with stones in Gujarat is still a mystery. It could also be because in Raees, SRK is playing Gujarat underworld don Abdul Latif, who operated through the eighties and nineties and was gunned down by the police in 1997. Before Gujarat, Raees completed a schedule in Mumbai.
