Looks like Shah Rukh Khan is extending his association with the Indian Premier League (IPL) to his next film. We've been informed that the makers of the Farah Khan-directed film plan to release a teaser of it at a gala dinner organised on April 15 in the UAE.
An industry insider reveals, "The shooting for the film Happy New Year is almost over, except for a few portions which need to be finished. Shah Rukh is producing the film and his team is looking after the marketing and promotional activities for it.
They have some strategies that they are working on, and one of them is releasing a 10- or 15-second teaser at the IPL gala dinner. In fact, SRK, Madhuri Dixit Nene and Deepika Padukone may also be performing at the do."
SRK is the co-owner of a team in the league. The source adds, "A large part of the film is shot at the Atlantis resort in Dubai. The makers plan to release the trailer in June, and the film itself is slated for a Diwali release."
