New Delhi: Superstar Shah Rukh Khan is not only loved in India, he is also an icon in the west. Acknowledging his contribution to Indian cinema, the actor was awarded the Global Diversity Award at the House of Commons on Saturday.

The King of Bollywood has received quite a few honours internationally including the coveted Legion of Honour (France's highest civilian honour). Khan is currently visiting London for 'SLAM!The Tour' promoting his Diwali multistarrer with the other HNY actors.
