SRK has been in the news lately, just like Aamir Khan, for his remark on the growing intolerance in India. The comment cost him some loss for his film Dilwale in December 2015, when screening was stalled in certain areas. The actor has since decided to refrain from commenting on any sensitive issue.

Why his car was pelted with stones in Gujarat is still a mystery. It could also be because in Raees, SRK is playing Gujarat underworld don Abdul Latif, who operated through the eighties and nineties and was gunned down by the police in 1997. Before Gujarat, Raees completed a schedule in Mumbai.

Shah Rukh Khan's next film Fan: Story to focus on rivalry? New plot rumours surface online

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan's upcoming film, Fan, is clearly one of the most eagerly-awaited movies of the year – mainly because of its unique story idea. While it is known that the plot revolves around a fan's obsession with his favourite movie star, it is unclear whether the film has any dark undertones – like Yash Chopra's classic psycho thriller Darr.

Rumour mills are in overdrive about some key details regarding the plot of the film. Apparently the film's storyline will focus on "a rivalry between the superstar and his biggest fan," reports Business of Cinema. "It is also said that the film has an action sequence towards the end which will play a very important role in the whole scenario."

Reports indicate that SRK's character in the film, named Gaurav (who plays the diehard fan) will be seen wearing some of the actual clothes worn by the star in earlier films – like the hat and leather jacket from Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge.

Fan is expected to be a very different kind of SRK film, and judging by the promos, it definitely looks like the film could do well on the box office. In an earlier interview, Khan himself indicated that Fan is more of a novel subject and quite unlike his regular blockbuster masala films like Dilwale and Happy New Year.

"If you're looking for novelty, then you should watch out for Fan," said SRK. "It's a different kind of film, meant to be a niche... not a blockbuster."

The Bollywood star added, "Films are novel in their storytelling, unless you have a completely niche or offbeat subject, and you take a subject not touched upon". Fan opens in theatres on 15 April 2016.

I Want to Buy a Plane, but Don't Have Money: Shahrukh

He is one of the highest paid actors of Bollywood, but there are things that even Shah Rukh Khan can't buy. The cine icon says he aspires to buy a plane, but is running low on funds as he has used them up to make films.

"I want to buy a plane but I don't have money. I put all my money in my films. I would really like to travel in a private plane because I can do a lot more work... One day I will make sure I have enough money. But I don't have enough money as I put in films. There is always a choice - buy a plane or make a film - so I make a film," said Shah Rukh.

The 50-year-old star, who has earned epithets like 'King Khan', 'Badshah' and 'The King Of Romance' after being part of the entertainment industry for over two decades, opened about his professional as well as personal life with his fans and by answering questions through #fame, a live video social platform.

After making his way into the world of glitz and glamour through the small screen, the actor took the leap for silver screen. The "Dilwale" star is not only known as an entertainer, but as a successful entrepreneur. He owns a film production company Red Chillies Entertainment with his wife Gauri.

When the superstar was asked about his "biggest worry" in life, Shah Rukh said: "I have a lot of worries in life because when you are at this level and are doing such kind of work, then there are a lot of things you have to look at."

"The biggest worry is that you have to be nice to everyone, care about everyone and think about everyone. There are days when I just want to say that 'No, I don't want to...somebody please take care of me'."

"And you are always worried about making sure that if you are in a place, or you are meeting someone, then you don't end up hurting someone. But there are days when I want to have no worries, no working worries."
On the professional front, Shah Rukh is gearing up for two big releases - "Fan" and "Raees".

Shahrukh Khan stays away from social media; Here’s why!

Mumbai: While interacting with fans through #fame, a live video social platform, Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan says that he now prefers to maintain distance from social mediums due to the abusive approach and idiotic stuff from a section a people.

"I don't come (on Twitter) that often. I don't like people abusing and all. I don't need to open my telephone and see the negativity. So, I don't like it… there are some idiots who talk really idiotic stuff and say bad things, so I don't like to read (it) and unfortunately I end up reading it whether I like it or not," the actor said.

Shah Rukh added, "So just one little thing… Don't abuse on social media and don't say bad things about other actors and actresses… because I don't feel like that myself for anyone and nobody is important enough in life to be abused I did a few times and I regret doing it."

5 easy-to-remember steps, so you really can't screw this up

"It's a pleasure to work with him because he's always open to suggestions. And he carries off any hairstyle effortlessly," explains Raaj Gupta, Shah Rukh's hairstylist. "He likes long hair, so there are times when we have to work around it. He likes to be minimal." "I started styling Shah Rukh on Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi in 2007. I was working with Dilshad [Pastakia] when she made me responsible for creating and managing his look for the movie. From that day forward, there was no looking back." When he's not shooting, Gupta spends his time styling non-movie star clients from a chair at Samantha's Salon in Mumbai.
